today was spent with bai de.

he was starving so we went straight to makan first.

he introduced me to this japanese restaurant:

ICHIBAN BOSHI

from outside it lets people misunderstand that it is an expensive restaurant

but nope. its not. not at all.

some of the prices are even lower than what is found at sakae sushi.

& the food's great too! (: ill definitely return there to dine again.

we were flipping through the menu when bai de announced that it would be his treat. i was stunned. he told me its cos he just received his pay. see? this is what i call a gentleman. hmm i did try to decline OF COURSE. but he insisted that i should at least eat a little ^^

there was steamed egg, sashimi, fried fish, rice, miso, oranges, tofu, sauces
all for just $14.90. CHEAP ANOT??!!

not that nobody entertained me okayy. just wanted a moment alone.
